Backroom dealings, now approved and endorsed by The Florida Public Service Commission (PSC). As expected, PSC staff rubber-stamped FP&L’s request to give special deals to the big guys.
So FP&L tells us that we need to conserve energy and not use energy during certain times (peak loads), and then for large industrials give special secret deals to lure their load into the state.
Is this tied to Governor Rick Scott’s efforts to lure business into the state thru special tax deals?
Who gets hurt? That long-term small to mid-size business that is not part of the ‘club” and won’t be able to compete with these big guys.
